I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.S. in Computer Science. My studies in computer science developed my aspirations to solve problems through technology. I learned how to approach problems with different perspectives. After graduating, I worked at SAP as a Product Management intern. I developed my communication and leadership skills in a fast paced environment. During this time, I had the opportunity to meet with the design team on several occasions and was instantly drawn to the work they did. What stood out to me was how relatable it felt to the users. I was inspired to pursue UX/UI to have more opportunities to connect with people and better their experiences.
My experience in development and project management helps me understand the design process and the collaborative effort needed across multiple teams in an agile workflow. I’m excited to keep learning about UX/UI design and I am looking forward to tackling more problems with users as my priority.
